Side by Side
As I walk this trail with you,
We see footprints in pairs of two.
Although we haven't wandered here before,
In this place we share memories galore.
We planted these prints, big and small.
Upon petite paws, we've seen it all.
Yes!, you and I haven't been here before,
But I know you understand; you do not implore.
We have traveled, far and wide,
And we remember side by side.
